We benefit from highly efficient communication systems like internet, telephone, FAX and highly efficient travel systems like air and rail travel. These systems can work both to our benefit and our detriment. Negative impacts are attributable to our lack ofconsciousness. We may lack consciousness in the way we have designed technologies or products or services or in how we choose to use them.
